Develop your skills as a Portrait Artist!

This class is designed to build upon the skills learned in Portraits 1 or equivalent class. Students will complete a realistic portrait of their choosing. The instructor will assist the class with personal one-on-one instruction, however, the students will be required to work on their portraits outside of class.
Students will be required to take a photo of their portrait and email the instructor weekly with their progress. They will receive tips and instruction from the teacher before the class meets again.
*The instructor will make themselves available outside of class to answer any questions or to assist the student with their work.

Class size: 1-10 students
Supplies:
Artist pencil set (H’s-B’s), plastic eraser (preferably small mono elastomer round eraser), kneaded eraser, stumps, tortillions, Qtips, tissue paper, sketchbook (preferably 9x12), 1 inch brush (cheap)
Prerequisites
Portraits 1 or experience drawing the basic features of the face and how to correctly use value.

Apart from Private Art lessons, I teach at a Charter School offering Beginning Art, Art 1, and Art 2 classes. As well as, teaching 7 Art classes at a Private School, in West Hollywood, for 6-12 graders, in all mediums and subject matter.
