Designed by elite Performance Coaches and PT's, this program promotes a healthy, active lifestyle by emphasizing developmental training along with activation, wellness and post-activity recovery techniques that are scientifically proven at the most elite levels of sports.

Class Description

Whether you are a competitive athlete or simply interested in a healthier, more active lifestyle, this class will encourage active participation and interactive discussion on sports-science related topics like Athletic Baseline Testing, Injury Prevention, Optimizing the Training Process, Energy Systems, Pre-workout Activation and Post-workout Recovery. Weekly homework assignments will include pro-style fitness programs including H.I.I.T. and Tabata programs that can be modified to any age, skill, or fitness level. M.O.R.R. Certified Explosive Speed and Movement Training (All Athletes, All Levels) - Certified Movement through Overspeed, Resistance and Reaction Training - Cutting-edge program created by Chip Smith, the “Godfather of Sports Performance Training” - Extensive track record of success with elite athletes from high school to pros B1 M.O.R.R. Certified Fitness, Wellness & Arm/Body Care Training (All Athletes, All Levels) - Practical, structured and efficient program that athletes can continue from home - Improve your sport-specific strength training with activation and post-workout recovery exercises - Roll out, Trigger Point, Dynamic Warm-ups, Resistance Bands and Mat Pilates.

This class may be considered for elective credit for high school students. Please submit to your charter school for final approval.

Students will need to have the following items available - Yoga Mat, High Density Foam Roller, Trigger Point Ball, Theraband or equivalent resistance band, 5ft dowel or broom/mop stick
