Writing Paragraphs!
Students will learn the basics of writing an effective paragraph with as few as 5 sentences.

This 4-week writing course will teach students the basics of writing an effective and complete paragraph. We will use The Baran Method by Greg Baran to discuss the Claim, Evidence, Analysis concepts for composing paragraphs. Students will study well-written example paragraphs to discuss the components that make up a great paragraph. By the end of the course, students will have created their own properly formatted paragraph on the topic of their choice. This will be a fun and exciting class as students learn to express themselves effectively!
Prerequisites: basic reading skills.
